Rally of Raleigh

The different teams of Democracy North Carolina gathered on the sunny early afternoon of July the 13th to test our safety in numbers against the wrath of political economic power. It was the event of our rights! We began signing people in and just collecting in front of the government building while having speakers fire the people up. There were words of truth, encouragement and goal seizing. There were people from all walks who desired the same thing as far as their natural born rights are concerned. People waved posters for liberty’s sake and listened to the reason of our purpose. Organizations met and greeted one another as they set their focuses on full blast rejecting the bills that would force us to time travel back to when not everyone could vote. We watched in awe as our group captured the attention of the senate when we marched into the assembly’s meeting place. We stared at them stare at us with one idea on our minds: “Justice will be served…it shall be so!”

We were there filming. 90% were black Americans. Still do not undestand though how votor ID will supress the black voters of our great state.

      Randy,
Allow me to respond. The answer is requiring a voter ID will in fact not suppress any voters. What it will suppress is voter fraud, and that is what the liberal interests are trying to hide from you by their obfuscation. Does requiring one to show a photo id stop anyone from cashing a check? The liberal interests want to maintain their corrupt system at all costs and will lie and cheat to accomplish their goals. Democracy NC claims to be non partisan but they are just another arm of the Democratic party.

      I hope that helps.

As the N&O’s photo album and our own photo galleries show, our crowd was wonderfully diversified and truly representative of North Carolina’s population: black, white, Hispanic, young, old, in-between. This was in stark contrast to the counter-protest, which consisted of white people over the age of 40. I was very proud that we were able to demonstrate the power of North Carolinians coming together:

I agree — it was a fun and inspiring event. It’s always good to get in the streets and do some good old-fashioned American protesting. Thanks for your help!
