LOD: Spreading Fear & Fraud

More is coming out about the shady activities of Nathan Sproul, a long-time Republican operative and the man behind Strategic Allied Consulting. Authorities in Florida yesterday began a criminal investigation into SAC’s activities after election officials in several counties found suspicious voter registration forms submitted by SAC employees. In many cases, the voter’s party affiliation was changed; the News & Observer reported about a similar case in North Carolina, where SAC also has a major contract with the NC Republican Party to register voters. Meanwhile, the Republican Party in New Mexico has been caught on video “training poll challengers in illegal tactics” and arming party activists with misinformation to create disruption at the polls.
