Week II

Week 2

   Week two has been interesting for the Winston-Salem Team. We’ve had meetings with so many groups; Guilford County Board of Elections, The Hive, YMCA and Democratic Women, just to name a few. This has been a productive week ,as we organize for LOBBY DAY. June 22 has been the entire buzz in the Winston-Salem area, from local elections to the Lobby Day event; North Carolinians will be involved with the political process. It is this type of organizing the changes the world. I would be remiss if I didn’t thank Democracy Summer for the opportunity to be involved with such a movement. Well friends in the words of Mr. Frost himself, “The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep”.
