The Guardian gives a straightforward description of this weekend’s corporate conspiracy confab hosted by rightwingers David and Charles Koch: “Amid great secrecy, about 200 of America’s wealthiest and most powerful individuals from the worlds of finance, big business and rightwing politics are expected to come together on Sunday in the sun-drenched California desert near Palm Springs for what has been billed as a gathering of the billionaires. . .  . David and Charles Koch enjoy a combined fortune of $35 billion, run the second largest private company in the US, Koch Industries, and are increasingly using their fabulous riches to push their special interests within America’s political process.

[Speakers and invited guests] will share ideas about how to tighten their grip on politics and the judiciary by shaping election campaigns.” Does it sound like a corporate takeover of American democracy? Common Cause is hosting a counter-event nearby to challenge the modern-day robber barons with its own all-star cast (you can attend via Internet), and Think Progress gives more details of Koch’s agenda. Democracy NC is concerned about the Koch brothers, but why are you not concerned about the efforts of George Soros in influencing our elections? He contributed $100 Million to incluence the 2004 election. Everything Soros is advocating is destructive to our way of life. He funded campaigns to legalize Marijuana, he funded the Sectretary of State Project to get favorable candidates elected who would look the other way on voter fraud cases. He funds hyper partisan groups such as Moveon.org, Open Society, and the Center for American Progress.

I never see any concern from Democracy NC on the efforts of George Soros, does his efforts give you any concern? Please don’t tell me he also contributes to Democracy NC.

Here’s an interesting article how Soros is funding protests against the Koch enterprises. http://washingtonexaminer.com/politics/2011/01/kochs-vs-soros-free-markets-vs-state-coercion#ixzz1CbQ63IwA

I’ve also seen how George Soros is anti Israel in his bias and is trying to influence our policy makers in that direction. I wonder if this is related to his admitted collaboration with the Nazis in World War II.
